Sarah (with an H) and I were joined by her cousin Craig on the inaugural edition of Thompson 2 Clark Radio, our new podcast all about the San Francisco Giants.
We talked about our backgrounds as Giants fans, why the show is named Thompson 2 Clark, and then talked about the off-season moves and Spring Training.
Sarah also tells you the three guys on the current team who she’d love to have a beer with and reasons why. I make her tell the real truth on one of them.

Great job guys. It’s so cool to hear the fans’ prospective. It felt like I was sitting at the bar at Pete’s Tavern (which I have lot of experience doing).
A couple of things about the opinions expressed. You are all wrong about Jonathan Sanchez. The change that he made to throw the no-no was a mechanical change in his lower body. He was lights out from that point forward. Word on the street is that he really worked on his lower body strenght in the off-season. I think he’s a guy that we’ll be able to count on.
I talked o Brad Penny last year and he made it clear that he didn’t want to be in SF. Good riddance.
Finally, I don’t know if it was a glitch on my end, but the stream cut out at about 80% through the podcast, but I really enjoyed what I heard.
I can’t wait to be on to talk about my experiences living across the street from 24 Willie Mays Plaza.
@timmylevad
Thanks for the comment Tim!
About Sanchez – I don’t doubt that he’s made changes or worked on things that will help him this year. My point is simply that you can’t count on him until he does it consistently. It’s hard to look into the future and predict on guys like Sanchez. But I do hope for all of us that he has made the necessary improvements and is going to be a stud. If he becomes our third stud, we win the West. I think it’s that easy.
Did you try DL’ing the show? I’ll take a look at the stream and see what’s going on.
You’re definitely on the list!
tim, i hadnt heard anything about penny not wanting to come back to the g-men via bay area media. low and behold, king of cali posts this today and i will officially eat my words!
